Miami Main Street and the City of Miami work hand
in hand to insure that we don't overlap each other
in services offered to our downtown businesses.  I
have combined services of both Miami Main Street
and the City of Miami with contacts for each service.
 
Miami Main Street, the City of Miami have partnered
with Arvest Bank, First National Bank and Trust of
Miami, Security Bank and Trust and Welch State Bank
to provide below market interest rate financing
for storefront rehabilitation.  The interest rate is one
percent below prime with a term not to exceed 15
years.  PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM IS
CONDITIONAL UPON EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE PARTICIPATING ENTITY TO
FOLLOW DESIGN STANDARD RECOMMENDATIONS.
MIAMI DESIGN STUDIO STOREFRONT REHABILITATION ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM
The City of Miami and Miami Main Street will assist in design assistance.  
Whether it is a design grant with the Oklahoma Main Street program or with a
local design service, we are here to help.  
WINDOW GRANTS:  Miami Main Street will provide 50/50 matching funds up to
$500.00 for any Partner of Miami Main Street. Projects include:
~  Uncovering  windows
~  Make any needed repairs to paint the windows facing
Funds are limited and grants will be awarded on a first come basis.
AWNING GRANTS:  Miami Main Street will provide 50/50 matching funds up to the
amount of $500.00  for any Partner of Miami Main Street.  Projects include:  
~  Removing the existing aluminum awning.
~  Making any needed repairs
~  Replacing the aluminum awning with a canvas awning
~  Miami Main Street will provide a list of contractors for the project and will help you       
     make contact with them.  
Funds are limited and grants will be awarded on a first come basis
BUSINESS PLANS:  As a Main Street community, Miami Main Street can help with
business plans.  Having a complete and detailed business plan is the first step in having
a successful business.  This is a no cost service to all businesses in the Main Street
District.
INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR HELP:   Sometimes it is hard to visualize what we want our
business to convey.  Miami Main Street has the help of professional interior designers
and exterior architects that help with these problems.  Convey the right message to
your customers.  This is a no cost service to all businesses in the Main Street District.
